Privacy

First Proof is a service of RFT Media, PO Box 167, Nederland, TX 77627. This page says what we keep about the businesses we write to and about visitors to this site.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other companies. Our server keeps standard access logs (address, time, page requested) to keep the site running and safe.

Businesses we write to

We use the details on a business's public listing: its name, category, address, phone number, website and the email address the listing gives. We also keep what our website checker found on the business's site and the date it checked. From those we build the preview and write the email.

If you reply, we keep your messages so we can answer them and make the changes you ask for. If you become a customer, we keep what you need us to keep to run your site and bill you. Payments go through Stripe, which handles your card; we never see the full card number.

Stopping email and removing your preview

Every email we send has a link that stops all email from us at once and takes your preview down. We keep your address on a do-not-contact list after that, so we never write to it again.

To have the rest of what we hold about your business deleted, write to hello@getfirstproof.com.
